Most recently, he worked for several years at Otscon before becoming an Uber and Lyft driver in April 2018. He was a member of First Baptist Church.

During his teenage years, he taught himself how to play the drums. He was a drummer for several bands in the Champaign-Urbana, IL area. He spoke often of the fun times he had and the many people he met. On May 20, 2018, he performed for the last time as a drummer with the Awakening Band at First Baptist Church.

In recent years, he fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle. He enjoyed riding it for many miles around Mid-Missouri. His longest trip was from Columbia, MO, to Champaign, IL. He also enjoyed taking part in honoring our veterans by participating in the Honor Flight motorcycle escorts and standing flag lines when time permitted.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents George Warren and Irma Lee.
