Mike, a resident of Eagle Point, Oregon, is survived by his son, Eric of San Jose, Calif.; daughter, Nichola of Eagle Point, Ore.; and brother, John of San Jose. He was born in San Luis Obispo to Carl Schultz and Emily Gilbreath, both deceased. He is also predeceased by brothers, Mark and Sam.

Mike proudly served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War from 1970-1972. He retired in 2010 after a career in HVAC. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, both street and off-road, and watching the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 15 at 9 a.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery, 2763 Riley Road, Eagle Point, OR.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the ALS Foundation for Life.
