Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at Concordia Baptist Church with Dale Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born July 13, 1964, in Windsor, she was the daughter of the late Hollie Younce and Martha Meyer Younce who survives of Concordia. Amy lived in Concordia and the surrounding area most of her life and was a 1982 graduate of Concordia High School and worked as an in-home health caregiver. On August 10, 2002, she married Harry "Doc" Thomas who survives of the home. Amy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt.
In addition to her mother, Martha; and her husband, Doc; Amy is survived by three daughters: Amber Yokley and husband Jon of Sweet Springs, Angel Tieman and husband Brett of rural Sweet Springs, and Laura Thomas of Marshall; seven grandchildren: Madisen and Bailey Thornton, Jace Yokley, Parker, Kinzley, and Emerson Tieman, and Bryson Morgan-Thomas; four sisters: Emma Huff of Adrian, Katherine Mueller of Concordia, Ruby Brandt of Concordia, and Evelyn Kilgore of Harrisonville; one brother, Forrest Younce of Warrensburg; as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Hollie; and one daughter, Mariah Sisco.
