Chesapeake - Elaine Marie "Ellie" Adams, 79, passed away peacefully at home on June 4, 2018. She grew up in the Ilion/Utica, New York area and was predeceased by her husband, James R. Adams; and parents, Dorothy M. and Ogden T. Crim. Ellie worked as a parcel post clerk in the Naval Shipyard, was a Navy veteran, and an avid reader, volunteering at the Major Hillard Branch Library in Deep Creek.
A wonderful mother, she is survived by three children, Michael Adams and wife Corrina, Christopher Adams and wife Shannon, and Patricia Brackett; two brothers, Paul Ogden Crim and Donald Brian Crim; and three grandchildren, Christopher Adams, Allison Adams and Colton Adams.A private graveside service will be held at Albert G.
