Dana Joy (Cochran) Jones, 42, of Bedford, died at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on Sunday, September 10, 2017.
Born September 18, 1974 at Bedford Regional Medical Center, she was the daughter of Samuel Cochran and Henrietta (Cobb) Cochran. She married Chris Jones on March 29, 2003 and he survives. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Stone Bridge Health Campus, studied Biochemistry at Indiana University and was a proud Homeschool mom.
She is survived by her husband, Chris; son, Zyler Jones; father, Samuel; two brothers, Darren Cochran and Mark Cochran (Shawna); three sisters, Sherilyn Kelly, Karen Cochran; nephews, Jon Cochran, Brayden “Alex” Cochran, Stephen Kelly; nieces, Kennedy Cochran, Tiffany Cochran, Sheryl Lyn Kelly. She is preceded in death by her mother; nephew, Jon Bradley Cochran; Grandmother, Nancy Stout.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kenneth Walden officiating. Burial will follow in Fayetteville Community Cemetery.
