Joseph William DeNardo was born November 27, 1930 in Martin's Ferry, Belmont County Ohio to Michael and Mary Jane Pucci (Puchi) DeNardo.
He attended Wheeling Central Catholic High School.
He graduated from Duquesne University in 1953 where he studied Math and Physics.
He married Dolores J. Wrana in Jefferson County, Ohio on 12/27/1952 and they raised two sons.
He earned a Masters degree in Meteorology from the University of Chicago.
He was a officer in the United States Air Force.
He was the Chief Meteorologist for WTAE TV for over 40 years.
He was also the founder and chairman of Project Bundle Up.
Joe worked with Special Olympics and many other charities.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his wife Dolores in 2009.
He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Margaret Mary Parish, Moon Township. Committal and entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Holy Angel Mausoleum, Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
