Anna was preceded in death by her parents Ernest F. Harrell and Madie Lee (Abrams) Harrell, her husband of 34 years Franklin E. Cannon, her brothers Jonas B. Harrell, Ernest B. Harrell and John W. Harrell, her son Ernest F. Cannon, and one grandson. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jonas Gene Cannon (Ruby) of Sun Valley, AZ, Joyce Geri Parkinson (Bob) of Coral Springs, FL and Peggy L. Burl (Warren) of Las Vegas, NV.
Anna was born in Crisp, NC and was a long-time resident of Annapolis (Eastport) before relocating to Nevada. Anna was a dedicated nurse and retired from the Anne Arundel Medical Center after 17 years of service. She then devoted her nursing skills to the residents of the Ginger Cove Life Care facility for 6 years. Anna was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star #46 and Annapolis Cedarettes #126. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Eastport in Annapolis for 56 years and was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Las Vegas, NV. Anna loved life, traveling, playing games and cards.
