Joshua Bruce was born July 23, 1994, in Grafton, ND, the son of Frank Hernandez and Christina Bruce. He grew up and attended school there, graduating from Grafton High School in 2012. Following his education, he worked various jobs in the Grafton area. He was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Grafton. He was extremely proud to be a father to his children. They were his world and he always called them "my lil family." He was a very passionate person. He loved music and art. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was very competitive. He enjoyed being around animals and had a great sense of humor.
Josh is survived by his parents: Christina Bruce, Grafton, ND and Frank Hernandez, Fargo, ND; siblings: Joseph Bruce, Grafton, ND and Deserae Bruce, Grafton, ND; his children, Xaviar and Jordan; paternal grandparents: Ramon (Alicia) Hernandez, Grafton, ND; maternal grandfather, Isaac Rodriguez; aunts: Jessica Bruce, in CO; Kelly Bruce, in TX; Linda Ogle, Jena, LA; uncle, Mike Hernandez, Grafton, ND; as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sally Bruce Rodriguez.
