Mrs. Mary Emma Nichols, age 85, of LaFayette Manor, Passed away Friday, July 25 at 3:30 a.m. following an illness of three years.
Mrs. Nichols was born in Randolph County November 24, 1883. She was a member of the Lanier Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at LaFayette Heights Baptist Church Saturday, July 26 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Herbert Howard and Rev. W.A. Sanders officiating. Interment was in the Oakwood cemetery, Lanett, with Johnson & Sanders in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Denson Hurst, LaFayette; Mrs. Lomie Krispinsky, Pensacola, Fla.; a son, Larkin langley, LaGrange, Ga.; a step-son, William Langley, LaFayette; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
