Linda L. Bruce, 74, was on born February 12, 1944, and gained her wings on June 12, 2018.

She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, granny and friend to many. She was the rock and foundation of her family. A sweeter smile did not exist. She had an infectious giggle. She exemplified what it meant to be strong in faith, strong in family and was a loving example of what a wife, mother and granny should be. She truly built a legacy, rich in family traditions. She had a heart of gold and the voice of an angel. She instilled a love for music in her girls. She always carried a song in her heart and it often came out when her fingers would find the keys of her piano. Linda never passed on the chance to catch a movie, play a game of cards, or cuddle her grand-babies. She adored her husband, Rick. In their 35 years together, the humor, laughter, antics and love could be rivaled by none. She will live on in all those that loved her because her impact was immeasurable. Heaven will be a better place because she is there.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Rebecca Mae Buchanan and Add Joseph Buchanan; brothers, Doyal and William Buchanan; mother-in-law, Nesta Bruce; brother in-law, James “Butch” Bruce; son-in-laws, Arvin Dance and James Egan, as well as her precious grandson, Anthony James “AJ” Egan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Richard Bruce; daughters, Terri Dance and Toni Egan, a son, Mike Bruce (Kristal); two granddaughters, Angela (Kyle) Burns, Kelsey Egan (David) and three grandsons, Conner, Jackson and Jason. She loved her three great- grandchildren, Dakota, Drew and Demi Rose. She will be missed by her sisters, Lorene Edwards, Kathleen Hornback and Norma (Glenn) Milburn; sister-in-law, Carol (Tim) Peak and brother-in-law, Kenny Bruce and his children, Tiffany and Kenny. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 15, 2018, from 4pm-8pm. A celebration of Linda's life will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, beginning at 11am at the chapel of the funeral home. A private graveside service will be Monday, June 18, 2018, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central, Radcliff, KY.
