Mary Ann (Holdridge) Clark

Mary Ann Holdridge Clark, 80, Rainbow City, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014.
Graveside service will be at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery; Mark Smith officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.
Mary Ann was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Attalla and the Ethel Henry Guild. She enjoyed her Circle of Friends Sunday School class and her bridge club for many years. After 30 years of teaching, she retired from Attalla City Schools. She was an avid fan of the Etowah Blue Devils, Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Braves.
Survivors: Husband, William D. Clark, Rainbow City; children, Theresa and Michael Thompson, Mobile, Lynda and Tom Strickland, Alabaster, Mary Dee and Jerry Gilmer, Attalla, Karen and Kerry Galloway, Cedar Bluff; chosen son, Rusty Vanstory, Memphis, Tenn.; grandchildren, Adam and Leslie Gilmer, Attalla, Clark Thompson, Nashville, Tenn., Andrew and Allison Gilmer, Attalla, Bryant (Kathleen) Thompson, Mobile, Ellie Galloway, Auburn University, Griffin Galloway, Appalachian State University; great-grandchildren, Baylor and Cash Gilmer, Attalla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Attalla.
Pallbearers: Adam Gilmer, Clark Thompson, Andrew Gilmer, Bryant Thompson, Griffin Galloway and Rusty Vanstory.
