Goldie Mae "Suea" Scott, 84, of the 6300 block of Glenoak Drive, died May 21, 2003. She was a native of Norfolk and a member of First Baptist Church, Bute Street.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Owens of Norfolk; two sisters, Helen Smallwood of Portsmouth and Mildred Hendricks of Chesapeake; a grandson, Torrance Owens (Atiya) of Jamaica, N.Y.; a great-grandson, TeVaughn Owens of Jamaica, N.Y.; a brother-in-law, James Smallwood; two sisters-in-law, Josephine F. Scott of Chesapeake and Helen Scott of Lumberbridge, N.C.

A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Bute Street, by Dr. Robert G. Murray. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Metropolitan Funeral Service, Granby Street Chapel, is handling arrangements.
