Monsignor Patrick Reilly attended seminary in his native Ireland, and was ordained a Catholic priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles at St. Vibiana's Cathedral on May 4, 1958. Before going to St. Robert's in Burbank, he served at several parishes, including St. Ignatius of Loyola, Nativity in Watts, St. Gregory Nazianzen, St. Brendan, and Sacred Heart in Covina.
