Mary married Daniel A. Kimel (1844-1898) on 17 Dec 1868 at Davidson County, North Carolina. Mary and Daniel were the parents of nine known children, namely:

3. John Poindexter Kimel (1874-1955)
4. Nancy Catherine Kimel Weisner (1876-1956)
