Jerry Don Eagle, 81, of Panhandle Passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Panhandle with Pastor Josh Light officiating. Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Jerry was born June 6, 1937 in Amarillo, TX to M. D. Eagle and Geraldine Claycomb Eagle. He married Sondra Wasson on August 30, 1958. Jerry was a member of First Baptist Church of Panhandle. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. Nothing brought more joy to his life than his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: an infant son and a grandson Aaron.

Survivors include wife, Sondra of Panhandle. Daughters Janet Lewis and husband Kelly of Panhandle: Deanna Eagle of Panhandle. Three grandchildren Ryan, Kaitlyn and Ethan. One great granddaughter Averee. Sisters Paula Walker and husband Clark of Victoria, TX; Jill Damerow and husband Chuck of Bakersfield, CA.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, P. O. Box 189 Panhandle, TX 79068.
