Mikeal “Mike” Anthony Brown, 51, of Franklin, NC, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010.
Born in Macon County, he was the son of Lawton Brown and Geraldine Bradley. Mike loved to fish and watch NASCAR. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his companion, Cindy Hoffman of Franklin; a son, Travis M. Brown of Franklin; two daughters, Rebecca Brown of Franklin and Angie Brown of Raleigh, NC; two brothers, Jim Brown and Joseph Brown both of Franklin; a sister, Gina Ray of Sylva; two grandchildren, Brayden and Gracee and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Morris Tippett will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Dale Bradley, Argil Bradley, Shane Downs, Johnny Rice, Nester Van Nest and Giovanni Hernandez.
