Born on November 12th 1944, she was preceded in death by her youngest son, Mr. Adam Cory Moss; parents, Mr. Cloyd Blair Brua & Mrs. Frankie Pauley Brua; two sisters, Ms. Fayelda Griffith & Ms. Wilma Breedlove; one brother, Mr. Franklin Brua.
Carolyn spent her career teaching at Stonewall Jackson,Sissonville high schools, Bridge Valley Community College, West Virginia State University; and received her educational degrees from Marshall University & the University of Charleston specializing in biology.
Survivors include husband Mr. Wilford L. Moss; her daughter, Amy Susan Parsons, a son in law, Brian Parsons, oldest son, Aaron L. Moss, all of South Charleston, West Virginia; two grandsons, Wyatt Parsons & Seth Parsons as well as several nieces, nephews,cousins,friends and former students she taught.
A celebration of life was held at 3 o'clock pm on Sunday, February 18th 2018 at the Labelle Theater, located at 313 D Street in South Charleston,West Virginia.
Friends were encouraged to arrive at 2 pm.
Cremation services were provided by Affordable Cremations of WV, 413 D Street, South Charleston, West Virginia.
