Ivan Campbell Burkhart, 50, a former Wellington resident and retired Army career man, died Monday, February 2, in the Veterans Hospital in Amarillo.

Mr. Burkhart was a World War II veteran, and had several tours of duty overseas.

He was married to the former Virginia Maye Crossland.

He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving Mr. Burkhart are his wife; two sons and two daughters: William, Glydon, Loy Deane and Dorothy Marie, all of the home; three brothers and five sisters: Freddy B. Burkhart, Murry S. Burkhart, and Leroy Burkhart, all of Vernon; Miss Bobbie Gene Burkhart of Garland; Mrs. Maude Webb of Paris; Mrs. Ruth Johnson, Mrs. Vera Phillips and Mrs. Billie Beal of Vernon.
