He was born in Kankakee, Il. to Frank and Florence Guimond O'Connor. They survive.

He married Tami Cooke on May 6, 1978, in Ashkum, Il. She survives. He is also survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Hailey and James Marrs of Atlanta, Lacey (fiancee, Justin Bernard) of New Canton; one son, Tech. Sgt. Brandon (fiancee, Michelle Doody) O'Connor of Bloomington; six grandchildren; his parents of Kankakee; and three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Judy and Wayne Coplea of Cari, N.C., Donna Gullquist of Chebanse and Eileen and Dan Boudreau of Clifton.
