Carol A. Buck of Washburn passed away on June 9, 2018 at Heritage Health in Chillicothe. She was born to Roland & Alice (Evans) Crocker on April 9, 1936 at the Henry Hospital in Henry Illinois. She married William (Bill) Buck on May 15, 1955.
Carol is survived by her husband Bill; daughters Debbie (Dave) Crew, Diane (Dave) Kingsland, Donna (Ken) Bell; son Dan (Katie) Buck; Grandchildren Alison Crew, Kelli Kingsland, Michael Kingsland, Brian Weiss, Patrick (Jeanette) Bell, and Dalton Buckingham; Great grandchildren Vincent & Amelia Bell, and Sister Audrey (Jim) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and daughter Deloris (DeeDee).
Carol was a homemaker and farmed with Bill. She was a member of the Washburn Christian Church serving on the Outreach committee and Board Chairman. She was a Richland Grange member for 67 years, the Flora for the IL State Grange for 6 years and Women's Activities Director. Carol & Bill were Young Married Couple for the State Grange. She worked for Community Care Agency and was Board Chairman for MSW Projects in Henry. Carol & Bill also belonged to the Marshall County Historical Society and Lacon Area Community Center.
Visitation will be Sunday June 17th from 4-6pm with funeral held Monday June 18th at 10am both at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon. Burial will be at Old Salem Cemetery in rural Washburn
