Graveside Services for Mr. Carl L. Mitchell, 75, of Bromide, Oklahoma will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a. m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Wapanucka, Oklahoma with Pastor Allen Hicks officiating. Mr. Mitchell passed away on June 11, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
Carl was born on November 5, 1942 in Walters, Oklahoma to Bill J. Mitchell and Florence (Harris) Mitchell. After school, he began working in construction and became a truck driver for construction companies, from which he retired. Carl married Regina Altom on February 18, 2005 in Denison, Texas. He enjoyed wood-working and fishing as two of his hobbies. He was preceded in death by is parents and a sister, Faye Roberts.
Carl is survived by his wife Regina, of the home; two sons, Dennis Mitchell of Bromide and Bill Mitchell and wife Michelle of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Tammy Jackson of Bromide; two step-sons, Bob Vickers of Ardmore, Oklahoma and David Vickers of Edmond, Oklahoma; the mother of his children, Carol Mitchell of Coalgate, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
