64 year old James Herbert Webb of Smithville died Thursday at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a Baptist, a construction worker, and a farmer. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. David Mahan will officiate and burial will be in the Cantrell Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
He was preceded in death by his father, S.C. Webb, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Delene Webb of Smithville. A brother, Ken and his wife Robin Webb of McMinnville. A sister, Judy and her husband Phillip English of Dayton, Maryland. Two nieces, Jennifer Knight and Janie English. Three great nephews, Joshua and Justin Webb, and Sebasatian Knight.
