Amy Lynn Tadlock was born on February 19th, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa to parents Roger Edwards and Victoria Button. She passed away on June 8, 2018 in Lewisville, Texas at the age of 47 years.

Amy grew up in Adel, Iowa before moving to Corpus Christi, Texas, raised with her sister, April Ferrer. She graduated High School from Calallen High School and worked in Human Resources and management. She settled in Carrollton, Texas where she was married to her husband Bruce Tadlock, and raised their two daughters Kascie Davidson and Hailey Davidson.

Amy loved the thrills of scuba diving and six flags. She enjoyed being around animals and spending time with her family. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, and dancing. Her favorite place to dance was in Old Navy. Her favorite sports team was the Dallas Mavericks.

Amy was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She was outgoing and funny. She loved playing practical jokes on others and making people laugh. She had the biggest heart and would help anyone in need, person or animal.

Amy is preceded in death by her grandmother Gloria Owen; grandfather, Leland Cooley; and Uncle Neal Edwards.

She is survived by her husband Bruce Tadlock; father, Roger Lee Edwards; mother, Victoria Lee Button; daughters Kascie Davidson and Hailey Davidson; granddaughter, Melody Nicole; sister, April Ferrer; nieces, Shelby Vest and Madison Ferrer; nephew, Grey Ferrer; and great nieces, Avery and Presley.

A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at ARIA Memorial Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in Amy’s name to the National Alliance on Mental Illness which promotes research and services for a cause that was especially important to Amy.

Maya Angelou said, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We will always remember Amy for her loving embrace, her kind heart, and her contagious laugh. Gone, but never forgotten.
