Ken married Joyce in 2000 and they lived in Carrollton, Texas. He worked as the Project Manager in Facilities and Construction for the City of North Richland Hills. Kenneth loved the Lord first and his family followed closely behind. He was not a man interested in worldly treasure, a humble and kind servant, his heart full of thankfulness for all of God’s blessings.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; and he leaves, as his legacy, two children and three stepchildren, Jennifer Wooten and husband, Kerwin of Frisco, Daniel Raney of Carrollton, Demetrius Galban and wife, Kim of Houston, Gabriel Galban of Carrollton, Alisha Galban and partner, Janna of Mesquite. He carried very close to his heart his precious grandchildren; Kessler and Addison Wooten, Madison, Sterling, Chandler, Harper, Makenzee, Makayleigh and Elijah Galban, Zach Atkiesson and Graciela Meza. He also leaves fourteen siblings to cherish his memory, Ronnie, Shelby, Frankie, Lena, Beth, Joyce, Peggy, Charlotte, Elton, Steven, Robert, Joy, Henry, and Audrey. Ken has numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and his very special, one in a million, Aunt Jo Ann Tomlin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Oleta Raney; father, Grover Raney; brother, Grover Earl Raney; sister, Rose Ann; and grandparents, Frank and Lena Arnett, Aaron G. and Carrie Raney.
Funeral services for Kenneth are scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2018 beginning with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and his service at 11:30 a.m. at Calvary Worship Center; 1364 N. Beacon Street, Corsicana, Texas 75110. Dr. Gary Johnson will officiate the ceremony.
A graveside service, with military honors for Ken, will be held at the Dallas Forth Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 on Monday, July 9, 2018
