She was the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth (Sehlhorst) Sager. On May 22, 1943, she married Cletus Bockey, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are a son, Edward 'Chip' (Justina) Bockey, Delphos; two daughters: Dorothy Schroeder, Glandorf, and Elaine (Tom) Evans, Delphos; a son-in-law, Eugene Lauf; a daughter-in-law, Karen Bockey; and twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, daughter, brother and two sisters, all linked below; and a son-in-law, Lynn Schroeder.
A devoted farm wife, she was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia Council 40. She enjoyed and taught her children and grandchildren her skill of canning fruits and vegetables. Her passion was embroidery, especially for her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, with Rev. Charles Obinwa officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
