After a career at NASA working in logistics, Dwight followed his passion for writing and became the Managing Editor for the Bay City Tribune. He loved his family dearly including his church family at Sagemont Church. He was passionate about theology, music, hockey, coffee, and the Texas A&M Aggies.
Dwight is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James and Ethyl Baker, maternal grandparents Eugene and Lillian Fouts and his best friend who was like a brother, Kerry (Bear) Webb.
Dwight and Elaine were married May 6th 2011 and made their home in Pearland, Texas. Dwight is survived by his wife Elaine, sons Zachary and Michael, and stepdaughter Ashley. Dwight is also survived by his parents James & Lynda Baker, sister Roanna Kirk, brother Kevin Baker, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
