Born in Roundup, Montana to Hans C. and Margarethe Andersen, They moved to Murtaugh when Mary was 11 years old. Graduated from Murtaugh High School and University of Idaho, in education. Taught high school business courses in several Idaho schools, including Twin Falls High School from 1946 to 1950. Went to Oregon and taught in several Oregon cities before joining the Madison High School in Portland until her retirement. Loved to travel both US and Europe. In retirement she traveled and volunteered at her church. Enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends. At 90 yrs. old she moved to Seattle, to be closer to brother and family.
Preceded in death by her parents, brother Ove and sister, Elsie Lattimer & one nephew.
