She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Newport, received her Undergraduate Degree in Home Economics from TN Tech and her Masters Degree in Dietetics from U. T. She was a dietitian at Blount Memorial Hospital, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Alcoa Kiwanis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darius and Elizabeth Winter Miller.
Survivors include her husband, John Edward Watson; sister, Beth Scott-Brown (Steve); nephew, John Darius Scott; niece, Brittany Hickman (Cory).
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018, at Maryville First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1301 E. Broadway, Maryville, TN, with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Longmire officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alcoa Kiwanis, P. O. Box 54, Alcoa, TN 37701.
