Mrs. Dora Moon Adams, 89, widow of A. E. Adams, died Sunday. She was the daughter of William Elkins and Chasie Elizabeth Lusk Elkins and was born in Scottsboro, Alabama. She was a member of Hunter Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors:
Sons: Percy Earl Moon of North Little Rock and George R. Moon and Cortice L. Moon of Little Rock.
Daughter: Mrs. Fred H. McGinnis (Grace Lee Moon)
Sisters: Mrs. Nan Kuns and Mrs. E.E. Hethcoat of Little Rock.
9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral:
Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Healey and Roth Chapel by Rev. Irl Bridenthal and Rev. M.L. Moser Jr.
Pallbearers:
Charles Mann, Julian A. Pearrow, Luther Hutchins, S.L Galusha, E.O. Hinson, and Q.M. Downs.
Burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park by Healey and Roth.

Note: Dora Jane Elkins married Andrew James Moon of Madison County, Alabama in 1898. She and Andrew J. Moon had six children: Maxie James Moon, Percy Earl Moon, Annie Belle Moon, Grace Lee Moon, George R. Moon, and Cortice Louie Moon, and had moved their family to Little Rock, Arkansas by 1910. By 1920, Dora was listed as a widow on the census, but as was common for the time, she and Andrew J. Moon were divorced. Sometime after 1920, Dora met Arthur Eugene Adams, a widower, and they were married by the time Dora's mother, Chasie Elizabeth Elkins, died in January, 1922. A.E. Adams died in 1944.
Andrew J. Moon remarried also, and died 4 Feb 1959. He is buried at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
