Note: Dora Jane Elkins married Andrew James Moon of Madison County, Alabama in 1898. She and Andrew J. Moon had six children: Maxie James Moon, Percy Earl Moon, Annie Belle Moon, Grace Lee Moon, George R. Moon, and Cortice Louie Moon, and had moved their family to Little Rock, Arkansas by 1910. By 1920, Dora was listed as a widow on the census, but as was common for the time, she and Andrew J. Moon were divorced. Sometime after 1920, Dora met Arthur Eugene Adams, a widower, and they were married by the time Dora's mother, Chasie Elizabeth Elkins, died in January, 1922. A.E. Adams died in 1944.
Andrew J. Moon remarried also, and died 4 Feb 1959. He is buried at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
