Virgil L. Oliver, 84, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Bible Baptist Temple Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Following the services he will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
Mr. Oliver was born in Alma, Michigan to the late Robert and Ethel Oliver. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 21 years of honorable service. He then worked civil service for 20 years at RAFB where he later retired. Mr. Oliver was a member of Bible Baptist Temple Church since 1975. In his free time he was an avid golfer, loved working on cars and anything and everything he could get his hands on. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, step father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother who will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Betty Ann Oliver, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Bible Baptist Temple Missions, 2601 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, GA. 31093.
Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
