Anne Daniels Wood, age 85, of Arab passed away Sunday June 10, 2018, at Marshall Medical Center North. Mrs. Wood was born on March 17, 1933, the daughter of William Luther Sisson and Lillie Shurbutt Sisson. She was retired from Redstone Arsenal where she worked as a Budget Analyst. She was married to James G. Wood who passed away on May 16, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Gwendolyn Hurst, Christine Ward, Betty Jean Sisson, Mary Jo Sisson and her son, William E. “Rick” Daniels. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Trillis and Randy Causey of Boaz; daughter: Nancy Ward of Huntsville; son and daughter-in-law: Luke and Christy Daniels of Arab; son: Mark Wood of Huntsville; daughter-in-law: Wanda Daniels of Arab; grandchildren: Shayla Beasley and Husband, Ken of Attalla, Shane Vaughn, Jamie Kirkland, Lori Anne Wright and Husband, Bradley, Matthew Daniels, Josh Daniels and wife, Merry Melton, Kori Daniels, Ben Ward, Tate Wood and Marielle Wood; great grandchild: Chandler Kirkland and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Wed. June 13, 2018, at 3 PM at Gober Funeral Chapel with Luke Daniels officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tues. at Gober Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be: Matthew Daniels, Josh Daniels, Ken Beasley, David Kellar, Randy Causey and Ben Ward. Honorary Pallbearer will be Shane Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road Albertville, AL 35951
