Louisa Lisetta (went by Lizzie) Rothrock was the fifth of six known children of Joseph Rothrock (1785-1868) and his second wife, Sarah Spach Rothrock (1795-1866), who married 18 Jan 1827 at Friedberg, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Joseph had an additional six children by his first wife, Magdalena Knauss Rothrock (1785-1826), whom he married on 15 Oct 1810 at Friedberg, Stokes (now Forsyth) County, North Carolina.
Lizzie married Valentine Delapp (Delap?) (c1831-01 Oct 1862) on 24 Dec 1854 at Forsyth) County, North Carolina. Valentine is believed to have died while serving with the Confederacy during the Civil War. Some records show Valentine died at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. Valentine was the son of Amos DeLap (1807-1886) and Margaret (1809-1872). Lizzie and Valentine lived in Northern Davidson County, North Carolina. Lizzie and Valentine were the parents of two known children, namely:
1. Anna Elizabeth Delapp Stewart (1856-1930)
2. Roswell "Ross" Daniel Delapp (1858-1929)
