Crawford, Beverly W., 90, medical receptionist, died June 11. Services 10 a.m. Thursday, Olivet Baptist Church (Mercer-Adams, Bethany).

Beverly Winifred Crawford, 90, went to heaven June 11, 2018. She was born February 27, 1928 in Hobart, OK and on October 26, 1928 was adopted by William Warner Huff.

Beverly attended the First Baptist Church in Hobart and, at age 12, she made her profession of faith in Jesus Christ as personal Savior and was baptized by Dr. George Boston.

Beverly enrolled in Oklahoma Baptist University in September 1946 where she was soon introduced to Ralph Crawford, a World War II veteran from Nowata, OK. They were married August 17, 1947 in Nowata at the First Baptist Church. They were together 71 years and 10 months. They lived in Shawnee, Enid, Ryan, Del City and Oklahoma City.

Beverly worked as a receptionist for Dr. E.T. Smiley and Dr. William Cleaver until retirement. She taught Sunday School for 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, William W. Huff in 1941, her guardian mother, Dorothy Yarbrough Sealy in 1985, and Dorothy’s daughter, Faye, in 1952.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph A. Crawford, Sr.; sons, Ralph Crawford, Jr. and Craig A. Crawford, and daughters-in-law, Laura and Gwyn, all of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Christopher Crawford of Florida, and Taylor Winzeler and husband John, and great-grandsons, Cooper and Jake Winzeler, also of OKC.

Viewing with family present will be Wednesday, 6-8pm at Mercer-Adams. Services will be Thursday, June 14, 10:00am at Olivet Baptist Church with interment in Rose Hill Burial Park.
