Ms. Carol Barrett, 75, of Murray, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her home.
Carol was born on June 30, 1942 in Granite City, Illinois to the late Raymond and Nellie McKinney Holt. She was a member of Bethel Fellowship Church.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Barrett; two brothers, Charles and Jack Holt; three sisters, Betty Holt, Amber Mansker and Dorothy Wagoner.
Those left to cherish her memory include four sons, Justin (Molly) Franklin, Todd (Kathy) Franklin, Jay (Lisa) Franklin and Joey (Debbie) Franklin; two daughters, Annette (Louis) Powell and Dayna (Bryan) Hutchinson; four brothers, Ray (Laverne) Holt, David (Cynthia) Holt, Douglas Holt and Richard (Carol) Holt; five sisters, Sherry Holt, Rebecca Thompson; Brenda Richardson, Deborah Hale and Judith Vaughn, along with 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
A graveside memorial service is set for 11 AM on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Dexter, KY. Rick Powell will officiate.
The family will receive visitors from 9 - 10:30 AM at the Heritage Chapel located at 1804 Highway 121 Bypass North, Murray.
