Clint Lemuel Collins, 88, husband of the late Geneva Virginia Capps Collins, of Walhalla passed away June 8, 2018.

A native of Westminster, SC, Mr. Collins was born in his grandmother’s house on Rich Mountain to the late Benny Franklin and Ina Burton Collins. He retired from the South Carolina Forestry Commission and attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Mr. Collins is survived by his sons: Keith Collins (Elda) of Westminster and Frank Collins (Judy) of Tamassee; brothers: Benjie (Lois) of West Union and Alton “Po” (Cora) of Walhalla; sisters: Ella Mae Lee of Walhalla, Sara Reid (Billy) of Westminster, Retha Anderson (Paul) of Easley, Janice Shetler of Seneca and Nell Ree Nardella of Melbourne, FL; grandchildren: Chris Collins (Tonya), Lewis Collins (Denise) and Lori Collins; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend: Jeanette Talty.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his son: Wayne Collins; brothers: Bobby, Garlon, Jack and Mike Collins; sisters: Mary McAlister, Maleeta Bond and Myrna Sue Collins; and great-granddaughter: Kayla Grayson.

Burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
