Rodney Keith Dunn, 64, of Devol, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021.
The family will receive friends between 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett. Graveside service will follow at 4:30 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Randlett, Oklahoma with Bro. Anthony West, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Burkburnett.
Rodney was born on December 21, 1956 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Freddie Dunn and Mary Fields Dunn. He retired from PPG after 40 years. Rodney was a true prankster and enjoyed making others laugh. His true passion in life was his wife, Sheila Dunn and his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Mary Dunn; and his wife Sheila Adams Dunn.
He is survived by his three daughters, Katrina Lassers and husband Danny of New Orleans, Louisiana, Nona Laminack and husband Brad of Devol, Oklahoma, and Karrie Whaley and husband Mike of Burkburnett; his four sisters, Janice Copeland, Mary Jane Dunn, Pamela Terrell and husband Thomas, and Robin Mendoza and husband Esteban all of Burkburnett; seven grandchildren, Kalin Strobel, Noah Whaley, Emma Whaley, Jack York, Lendry Laminack, Luke York, Lincoln Laminack, and his grandson on the way, Laysen Monroe; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
