1939-2018
Harry Mason was born to Mary Lee and Harry Mason Sr. in Oklahoma City. He grew up in Britton, Oklahoma attending Britton Elementary and John Marshall High School. He graduated from OSU with a degree in architecture and practiced architecture until his retirement.
Harry loved the outdoors and the mountains and spent many of his happiest times there with friends and family. A couple of times he climbed a fourteener, Uncompahgre, near Lake City. He was an avid photographer and artist.
He had many friends he loved spending time with and was an avid fan of OSU and the Thunder. He and Marge would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in August 2018. They started dating in high school and she says, “He was the kindest person I’ve ever known.”
Predeceased by his parents, sister Shirley, and daughter Cheryl Dawn. Survived by wife Marge; son Tyler, and his wife Gina, and their daughter Mia of Yukon; and son Scott of Edmond; and his faithful buddy, Coalie.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, June 15th, at the Methodist Church of the Servant, with reception to follow. Burial will be at 3:30 PM, Friday, June 15th, at Gracelawn Cemetery.
