Funeral services for Travis R. Sims, 63, of Detroit, Michigan, are incomplete at this time. Mr. Sims, an Overton County native died July 26, 1984 in A Detroit hospital following an extended illness. Nave Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

The services will be held at Nave, with Bro. W. L. Baker officiating. An employee of General Motors, Mr. Sims was affiliated with the Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Janelle James Sims; step-daughter Darlene Tays of Lawrenceburg; step- son, Kenneth Thorne of Kentucky; five step-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ethel Mitchell of Lebanon, Mrs. Freda Brunner,

also of Lebanon, Mrs. Dora Fiddler of Redford, Michigan and Mrs. Ola Daniels of Palm Springs, Florida; and brother, Eddie Sims of Lebanon.
