Obituary
Misty Marie Walsh
(nee Graf)

10/07/1973 - 06/04/2018 (44 years)

Without any fear or sadness, Misty made the ultimate decision to leave this life painlessly and peacefully at home surrounded by her husband, family and her beloved golden retrievers that loved her.

Misty and I met at a very young age. We enjoyed hanging out as good friends on the weekends playing basketball and Atari games. Both of us attended different grade schools, but saw each other in the halls at middle school.

It wasn't until high school at Nathan Hale that we became boyfriend and girlfriend. Winning her heart wasn't easy. I had to chase her and I liked that.

On Valentine's day I was able to obtain her locker number and decorated the inside of it with flowers, a cute stuffed yellow bear and a card signed from a secret admirer. Running through the halls in between classes, Misty tried to figure out who did it. Carrying the flowers and bear, Misty saw me with a group of buddies and smiled, and said "Did you do this?"

I smiled back and Misty knew I was her admirer.

It was the very moment and the beginning she would always be my girl.

After a long courtship, we got engaged.

We were pronounced husband and wife March 18th, 1999 on the beautiful island of the Bahamas.

Misty's long career at United Health Care and my long career at United Parcel Service gave us the financial stability to own a beautiful home, and amazing things. Traveling to Caribbean destinations were our favorite vacations.

Not having any children, we had what Misty liked to call "Our fur babies". Misty loved Golden Retrievers, so we had many. Angel, Amber, Autumn and Athena have passed on to the rainbow bridge. Avery, Ally, Cricket and Addison still all play in the back forty. Almost forgot little pet Pete "Buddy" Misty's white racing pigeon.

Misty is now reunited with her father, uncles, other lost loved ones and friends. Not to mention, a quick stop at the rainbow bridge to be smothered with licks and kisses from her furry children.

Thanks to Misty, I have the strength and support to go on with life to its fullest. I will love Misty forever, I miss her so much and I can't wait to see her again soon.

She took her last breath....
The end of her suffering....
It was so peaceful.............

In my every thought......
Never will I forget her.......
I love you Sweet Pea........

Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 15250 W. National Ave., New Berlin, WI from 3:00 PM until the Memorial Service at 7:00 PM.
