Fred is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Winifred Coleman of Powder Springs; son, Marcus (Niccole) Coleman of Powder Springs; daughter, Marci Coleman of Smyrna; siblings: James (Edith) Coleman of Douglasville; Arthur Coleman of Florissant, MO; Anna (Jewel) Wafford of St. Louis, MO; Alice (John) Hardin of Jennings, MO; Daniel Coleman, Jr. of Berkeley, MO. He was a proud Pop to Destiny, Jadyn, Brooklyn, affectionately known as Cooda, and Jaivon, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Fred was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and gardening. He loved to travel, especially on family trips to the beach. He coached basketball and enjoyed family basketball games, and was an avid Saturday morning garage sale guru. Fred proudly served in the United States Army and was employed by Boeing for 41 years before retirement. Above all, his greatest love was for his family. He will be greatly missed.
