MRS. ANN HAMLET.
The subject of this sketch was born November 11, 1841, in Marion County, Arkansas, where she resided many years. She was married to W. H. Hamlet, Sr., in the year of 1861. Mr. Hamlet having died November 10, 1911.
There were born to this union ten children, four dead and six living. Mrs. Hamlet professed religion in her early days being only nineteen years of age. She united with the Methodist church 69 years ago, being 88 years of age and would have been 89 on the 11th day of November, 1929. Mrs. Hamlet passed away Tuesday morning at 1:14 o'clock, in the home of her son, Mr. C. H. Harvey. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harvey of Antlers; Mrs. Damph of Springdale, Ark.; and four sons, C. H. Hamlet of Antlers, George Hamlet of Antlers; Bill Hamlet of Arizona, and Jeff Hamlett of California.
