Linda Kay Massey, 70, of Jasonville, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 in Sullivan County Community Hospital, Sullivan.
She was born Aug. 10, 1947 in Chicago, Ill. to William J. Boyd, Sr. and Audrey P. (McComk) Boyd.
Survivors include her husband, Richard K. Massey, Sr. of Jasonville who she married on February 22, 1970; children, Richard K. Massey, Jr. of Jasonville, Sandy Allen Bharns of Missouri, Denise Marie Bharns of Missouri; brother and sister-in-law, Bill Boyd (Sharon) of Jasonville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was a homemaker. She loved to read, do ceramics and spend time with her family.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville. Cremation was chosen and a Gathering of Friends will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. Memorial Services will immediately follow visitation at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville.
