Anyone who knew Michael was always impressed by his character, integrity, strong work ethic and his will and determination when faced with difficult circumstances.
He was a loving and caring son to his parents, his sisters and brothers, nieces and nephews, and all his friends. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
His strong will and determination is what helped him beat cancer for more than 10 years, though he faced more and more struggles over the last several years with its reoccurrence.
