Connie was born in Amarillo, Texas, in 1948, to Mr. Roy Ward and Jewel (Weger) Ward. She was a graduate of Caprock High School in Amarillo.
Connie is survived by her mother, Jewel (Weger) Ward, brothers, Mike and his wife, Sarah Ward and Robert Ward; sisters, Beverly Gregory and husband, Dewey Gregory, Sabra Adams, and Terri and husband, Dan Chandler.
Connie had two children, son, Britt Dale Moody and wife, Mellissa Moody, and daughter, Breta Hudson. Along with four grandchildren whom she adored: Jacob Hudson, Kagan Moody, Grayson Moody and Zoey Hudson.
Connie’s beautiful smile and grace will forever be etched in our hearts. She loved her family and many friends and her cherished title of “Nana” that her grandchildren called her.
Connie had a thirst for knowledge and loved to read her Bible, garden, shop, traveling to Hawaii and NFL football.
Connie has gone home to Heaven, no more suffering, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home in Denison.
