Mary E. Bell, 78, of Janesville, WI, died Friday, June 8, 2018 in Cozy Lil Acres II, Janesville, WI. She was born on January 19, 1940 in Rockingham, NC, the daughter of Robert and Nettie (Perkins) Paul. Mary married William Bell on April 11, 1964 in Rockford, IL. He predeceased her on October 5, 1986. Mary was employed by JC Penny for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and having lunch with the ladies from Penny's. Survivors include her children, Carl "Dave" (Nancy) Bell of Janesville, WI, Matthew (Lori) Bell of Port St. Lucie, FL, Diane (Roger) Williams of Milwaukee, WI, Andrew (Brenda) Bell and Leah (Joey) Stranglen both of Janesville, WI; grandchildren; great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Schoville both of Beloit, WI; brothers, Maston (Mary) Paul and Bennie (Mary) Paul of Beloit, WI; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, James and Roy Paul; and sister, Jewell Piccone. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road with Pastor Jerry Amstutz officiating. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery.
