She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandma, and beloved friend to most everyone who met her. She loved sewing and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband of 26 years Michael "Mike" Myers; one daughter, Virginia "Jenny" Myers of Mt. Zion; one grandson, Keith Austin Myers of Mt. Zion; two sisters, Marie Adkins of Doylestown, Ohio, and Waneta Helmick of Clinton, Ohio; one brother, Gordie Marks of Harrisville. She also had several nieces and nephews; and two beloved friends, who were more like sisters, Debbie Basnett and Bonnie Strouse.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hannah Slider Marks in 1991, her father, Ernest Marks in 2000; three brothers, Alva Starcher in 2005, Foster Marks in 1980, and William Gifford Marks in 2008.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, August 10 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Carl Marks officiating. Interment will be in the Slider Cemetery.
