Morris was always active and ambitious throughout his life.
He owned a record store as just a young man. Later he opened a family corner store located on Broad Ave., next door to our family owned, Seafood City.
He strived to succeed and worked numerous hours and days throughout his entire life. He lived for his children. Never a day went by without calling or seeing one of his children.
Morris is survived by his children, Michelle Williams Bernard (Paul), Martin S. Williams (Gizelle), Monty S. Williams, and Michael S. Williams; 9 grandchildren, Manda Brown, Matthew Williams, Hallie Parent, Cameron Williams, Mia Williams, Mya Williams, Miles Williams, Madison Williams, and Alexis Williams; 2 great-grandchildren Noah Phillips and Camille Marler; his sister, Carol Williams Sensebe (Patrick), as well as the mother of his children, Marcella “Tweety” Rose.
He leaves behind many loving family members and friends including Sal and Emile.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Palmisano Roppolo, his parents Pascal and Marie Roppolo Scramuzza, and his son, Morris S. Williams.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10 AM in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd in New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park.
