Born March 21, 1967, in Lancaster, he was the son of Clare Briggs Sterback, and the step-son of William Klinger, both of Landisville and the son of Alph Licht, of Columbia.
Also surviving are two children; Molly Briggs and Aidan Briggs; two step-children; Ryan Keagy and Megan Keagy, all of Lancaster; siblings; Barbara Burnett, Jeremy Klinger, Jason Licht, Keith Licht, and Keith Green; maternal grandmother; Doris Briggs; aunt; Helen Gehr Charles; nephews; Daniel Cheston, Luke Cheston and Isaac Cheston and cousin; Tyler Gehr.
Peter was a 1985 Hempfield graduate. He was a Services Coordinator for United Disabilities Services, Lancaster. Peter received his EMT certification and enjoyed helping people through his work at LEMSA.
Peter will be remembered as a loving father and husband. Nothing was more important to him than his kids and his family.
