Mrs. Eunice Brody, 83, Dies at Boone Grove After Long Illness

Mrs. Eunice Brody, age 83 years, a pioneer resident of Porter township, Porter county, died this morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leroy Ludington, in Boone Grove. She had been in poor health for a number of years.
Mrs. Brody, who was the widow of Aaron Brody, who died 15 years ago, was born on September 18, 1842 in Boone township, Porter County, but spent the greater part of her life in the Boone Grove vicinity.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leroy Ludington and Mrs. James Denny of Boone Grove; and one son, Franklin Brody of Valparaiso.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Christian church in Boone Grove, conducted by C. E. Burns. Interment will be in Merriman Cemetery.
