Major League Baseball Player. He was a catcher for both the Atlanta Braves and the Kansas City Royals during a six year career (1981-1983,1985, 1987-1988). He played baseball at Bowling Green State University in Ohio before he was drafted by both the California Angels in the 1976 MLB June Amateur Draft and the Atlanta Braves in the 1977 MLB June Amateur Draft. He started his Major League career with the Braves in 1981 and played catcher part-time for them for the next three seasons. He missed the 1984 season, but came back to the team in 1985. He later played for the Kansas City Royals during both the 1987 and 1988 seasons before leaving baseball. His career statistics were a .183 batting average with 8 home runs and 30 RBIs. He later was a Vice President of Franklin International for thirty years.
